Mercy House to host 1st annual Music Fest Fundraiser; Country Artist Tezza speaks on performing – WBNG
by June 8, 2024ENDICOTT (WBNG) — Mercy House of the Southern Tier is hosting its first-ever Music Fest Fundraiser on May 11.
Several local and national artists, including Country Artist and Emcee Tezza, will perform live throughout the night and food will be provided.
Tezza told 12 News she knows several people who have stayed at the Mercy House and is happy to combine her music with the cause.
“The fact that I’m able to pair that with a cause that’s near and dear to my heart like Mercy House I come in and play when I’m in town so I get to meet a lot of the residents and their families so this is just a great way to combine both,” Tezza said.
Executive Director Linda Cerra explained that the funds from this event will go towards covering expenses for patients staying at the Mercy House.
“We currently host three annual fundraisers, our golf our gala and our Mothers’s Day Tea, so we decided let’s add another one at an outdoor venue have some music and raise money to offset the expenses for caring for the terminally ill,” said Cerra.
Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will go to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, they will be raffling off items at this event including a guitar autographed by Taylor Swift.
The event will take place at Endwell Greens from 4 to 10:30 p.m.
