LOS ANGELES — The opioid crisis continues to claim thousands of lives every year.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reports that in 2021, fentanyl accounted for 55% of drug overdose deaths.
End Overdose is a local group that works to prevent these kinds of deaths among young adults.
At a recent training, the biggest lesson was that these deaths are all preventable.
