In December of 2012, NCMF surprised fans with a Limited Discounted ticket sale, and tickets sold out in less than 30 minutes. General admission and VIP tickets are on sale now exclusively through Clubtix.com. As always, the show doesn't stop when the festival hours end, as North Coast Music Festival hosts plenty of after parties around Chicago at the city's finest venues, which will be announced as the festival approaches. Festival ticket holders have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the after parties before the general public.

North Coast Music Festival 2013 is now expecting over 50,000 people in attendance, roughly 18,000 people per day. For the past two years, NCMF has sold out two of the three days, and this year builds on expanding the fourth stage, transforming it into a dome with performances from international and nationally touring artists. The fourth annual NCMF continues the tradition of pushing emerging artists to the forefront while still keeping everyone dancing at the festival. Hip-hop, EDM, soul, indie, jam, and everything in between is represented at the festival, with two more waves of artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

In its inaugural year, NCMF put a permanent stamp on Chicago's festival scene with a legendary performance from The Chemical Brothers, the debut of Nas with Damien Marley, then little known Pretty Lights, Moby performing what was at the time a very rare DJ set, legendary hip-hop act De La Soul, critically acclaimed Brainfeeder mastermind Flying Lotus, and others from the jam (Umphrey's McGee, Disco Biscuits), EDM (Laidback Luke, Green Velvet) and indie-rock (Phantogram, Mayer Hawthorne) world. Check out the 2010 flyer HERE. The following years had such big names as David Guetta, Bassnectar, Girl Talk, STS9, and Common, as well as debut performances from emerging acts, legends, and artists that would go on to become critical successes like Major Lazer, Carl Cox, RJD2, SBTRKT, Fatboy Slim, Thievery Corporation, Gogol Bordello, Paul Oakenfold, Zeds Dead, Atmosphere, Maya Jane Coles, Of Montreal, and plenty of others. Check out the flyers from 2011 and 2012.

Since the inception of NCMF, the festival has been committed to giving back to the Chicago community through the International Latino Cultural Center (ILCC) of Chicago. The ILCC is a pan-Latino, nonprofit multidisciplinary arts organization dedicated to developing, promoting and increasing awareness of Latino cultures among Latinos and other communities by presenting a wide variety of art forms including film, music, dance, visual arts, comedy and theater. NCMF donates a percentage of every ticket sold to the ILCC, and since then has donated almost $50,000 to the charity! For more information on the ILCC, head here.

North Coast Music Festival is produced by a group of independent promoters based in Chicago, IL. Between them they produce hundreds of events each year, including multiple festivals in the Midwest, one off events at Chicago's premier music venues, street festivals, and more, that attract thousands of fans and artists from all over the world.
