The Sunset Music Festival is back for its 11th annual touchdown in the North Lot of Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. The Memorial Day Weekend tradition is one of the best-attended EDM (electronic dance music) festivals in the southeast, and it draws fans from all over the country – organizers say they expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 people to descend on the outdoor Dale Mabrey venue Saturday and Sunday.
EDM DJs and performers deliver house, techno, trance, bass and dozens of other sub-genres on three stages, alongside state-of-the-art light and effects technology. These are, for the most part, nighttime raves, with the name headliners coming onstage in the later, darker hours.
Parking lots open at 3 p.m. each day (festival gates open at 4), and will close at 1:30 a.m. It’s a completely cashless event; the festival website (click here) includes information on wristband purchases (for food, drink, merch et cetera) and ticket packages. The site also has information on rideshares, drop-offs and pick-ups.
From the Festival Guide page: Sunset Music Festival is open to ages 18 and above. To purchase and consume alcohol, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Saturday’s headline names include Zomboy, Rezz, LSDream, Kayzo, Kai Wachi, AC Slater and Dr. Fresch.
Sunday: Slander, Adventure Club, Chris Lake, Blunts & Blondes, Bear Grillz/Bad News Bears, Eptic B2B Space Laces, Wax Motif and Habstrakt.
