A new national music festival is coming to Tampa – Tampa Bay Times
by June 4, 2024Tampa Bay loves a music festival, and a new one is coming to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa this spring. The Breakaway Music Festival showcases artists and DJs in the dance music genre with headliners Illenium, Kaskade, Zedd and Sofi Tukker (DJ set). It’s happening April 26-27.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at breakawayfestival.com. Packages include two-day general admission, VIP, Ultra VIP, Space Deck Terrace and Space Deck tables.
Single-day tickets will be available in the coming months.
The festival is the largest multicity one in the U.S. It features 22 national artists including ACRAZE, CRANKDAT, Deerock, Dion Timmer b2b Calcium, Gudfella, Ian Asher, It’s Murph, Matroda, Moore Kismet, Night Tales, Ravenscoon, Rossy, Said the Sky, Sara Benyo, Troyboi and Zuezeu.
Local artists MYR, Pushman and Taylorlace are also on the roster. The event also includes a silent disco stage featuring local DJs.
The lineup by day is also forthcoming.
“Florida has been a market we’ve always wanted to tap into, so we couldn’t be more excited to expand to Tampa as one of our newest 2024 festival locations,” Adam Lynn, co-founder of Breakaway, said in a news release.
