Ari Chi is the lone Tampa Bay artist on Miami's impressive House of Creatives lineup – Creative Loafing Tampa

After bringing MGMT, Washed Out and Alt-J to Miami's Virginia Key in 2017, the independent House of Creatives festival (HOC) is back with a 2018 lineup anchored by U.K. rapper M.I.A., L.A. pop band Foster the People, Swedish electro-pop group Little Dragon and Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo.
Representing Tampa Bay on the lineup of more than 30 acts is Tampa songwriter Ari Chi, who's been on quite a run (the 24-year-old, BOTB-winning artist has released a new album, been featured on MTV's TRL, released several amazing music videos over the last 15 months and just played Afropunk in NYC).
Other highlights on the bill include New York's Sofi Tukker ("Best Friend"), Brooklyn singer and rapper Saint Jhn, Los Angeles rock band Allah-Las, Australian psych-rock outfit POND, Kentucky producer Amtrac and more. Get more information below and see the full lineup via hocfest.com.
