The latest banger by the 32-time Grammy-winner arrives the same night 'Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé' hit cinemas.
Beyoncé‘s back.
At midnight Friday, the 32-time Grammy-winner and queen of surprise drops—among innumerable other things—gifted us with the new song “My House.” Arriving the same night that Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé finally hit theaters worldwide, the infectious track is co-produced and co-written by Bey and The-Dream. Footage from moviegoers revealed that it plays over the credits.
Listen to the energetic “My House”—and begin chanting “get the fuck up out my house”—now via Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube (below), or wherever you listen to music.
Beyoncé’s latest feature film as a director follows 2016’s Lemonade, 2019’s Homecoming, and 2020’s Black Is King. It gives fans a chance to see the historic Renaissance World Tour in a nearly three-hour theatrical experience.
In October it was revealed that the global trek earned $579 million across 56 shows in 39 cities, with 2.7 million attendees. As Complex’s Alex Ocho reported at the time, “In terms of Billboard Boxscore—which ‘has charted the biggest tours in the world’ for ‘nearly four decades’ and has a top 10 comprised solely of white, male artists—this places Beyoncé’s latest run as the seventh-highest-grossing tour on the chart, making her the only woman, only Black artist, and only American solo act to enter the ranks.”
The 42-year-old multihyphenate’s last song came in May, with the “America Has a Problem” remix featuring her “Freedom” collaborator Kendrick Lamar. She blessed Travis Scott’s July album Utopia with a guest spot on “Delresto (Echoes).”
