Big Outdoor House Music Festival 'All Day I Dream' Returns to Golden Gate Park Saturday – SFist
by June 11, 2024Golden Gate Park’s Hellman Hollow will become a combination of Ibiza and Burning Man on Saturday, as the house and techno festival All Day I Dream brings back its outdoor, daytime house music party with DJ Lee Burridge.
San Francisco and the greater Bay Area have a reliable crowd of face-melters who will show up for daytime rave and dance party events, like the Sunset parties, the sober party Daybreaker, and of course the blockbuster success of last weekend’s Skrillex and Fred Again show. Now another big outdoor electronic and house music party returns to drop the bass in Golden Gate Park this weekend, as the popular annual touring festival All Day I Dream will bring the furry jackets and delirious dancers to Golden Gate Park’s Hellman Hollow Saturday afternoon and early evening.
Though this year, it’s billing itself with the slightly different name All Day I Dream of San Francisco Cloud 9.

This is more of a single tour stop than a standalone festival, as All Day I Dream has been thumping worldwide since mid-April in cities around the world (and half of its dates are in Ibiza). Saturday’s show will see the festival’s founder Lee Burridge headlining, and will also feature sets from Roy Rosenfeld and Lost Desert. The event will have local food trucks and a “Komaaj Tea Lounge,” and its Facebook invite declares there will be “Vendors selling clothing, jewelry, and art for your favorite excursions to the Playa!” So you can imagine there will be some Burning Man element to this.
The event runs from noon to 7 pm Saturday, June 8. Tickets are available online, starting at $50.99.
This festival has been coming to Golden Gate Park since 2016, but was originally thrown in New York in 2011. The DJ and producer Burridge started it on a Williamsburg rooftop that year as a recurring Sunday afternoon party, but it spawned satellite parties in Los Angeles and London (and of course Burning Man). Previous years’ California iterations were at Woodward Reservoir Park east of Modesto, but now San Francisco and Los Angeles both have their own All Day I Dream stops.
The day’s festivities start at noon with Waking Hour Yoga, which you can get a sense of with the video above, and an opening ceremony with Steve23 from Mission Yoga studios and Danny Golderg’s Sound Immersion Experience, along with “massages, face painting, and live art.”
And if you’ve still got any molly left after, there’s an All Day I Dream of San Francisco official afterparty at Great Northern “from 7pm till late,” featuring DJs from the All Day I Dream music label.
