Calvin Harris has responded to punters who were unhappy with his ULTRA Miami festival appearance, writing on Instagram, “And you wonder why I never play EDM festivals.”
The How Deep Is Your Love DJ responded to two attendees’ comments on the dance music publication Dancing Astronaut’s post about Harris’ set at ULTRA. The pair called his set “underwhelming.”
Harris joined the comment section last week (28 March) and wrote, “You expect me to play none of my songs? … how deep is your love – billion streams, this is what u came for – billion streams, my way – billion streams, slide – billion streams, feels – billion streams, one kiss – billion streams, and the other 5 half a bil, and before 2014 another 20, and not cheesy shit proper fucking songs with real artists and you’d rather I play Fein trap edits today,” with Harris referring to last year’s hit song starring Travis Scott and Playboi Carti.

Harris added that he “spent months making new versions” of his songs that featured on his ULTRA Miami set, including This Is What You Came For, One Kiss, I Need Your Love, Desire, We Found Love, and more.
“And you wonder why I never play EDM festivals,” he continued, “At least people I saw irl had a great time and I can be happy with that but fuck at this point whatever I do is gonna piss you off”.
