Decadence Arizona 2023: a massive EDM festival in Phoenix – The Arizona Republic

The ninth edition of Arizona’s largest New Year’s Eve celebration returns to Phoenix Raceway on Saturday, Dec. 30, for a two-day EDM extravaganza packed with marquee talent, from Steve Aoki to Illenium, John Summit, Subtronic, Chris Lake, Loud Luxury, Black Tiger Sex Machine and Getter.
Decadence Arizona: The Sky Realm is presented by the Valley’s own Relentless Beats in partnership with Global Dance.
They’re promising festival-goers “top-level production, the return of the Weird and Wonderful performers” and more at an event that has become one of the Phoenix area’s most anticipated New Year’s Eve traditions.
Here’s everything you need to know if you’re going to Decadence Arizona 2023.

The Decadence Arizona EDM festival is at Phoenix Raceway, 7602 Jimmie Johnson Drive in Avondale. From central Phoenix, take Interstate 10 west to Avondale Boulevard and head south to Phoenix Raceway.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 30-31. There are a lot of performers, so early arrival is highly recommended. The event ends at 3 a.m. each night.
Set times for both nights will be released the week of the event.
Two-day general admission passes cost $349 plus fees in advance at decadencearizona.com. Single-day general admission passes are $149 for Saturday. Single-day general admission passes for Sunday are sold out.
A GA+ pass includes admission, express entry and premium restrooms. GA+ two-day passes are $269 in advance. Single-day GA+ passes are $189 for Saturday. Single-day GA+ passes are sold out for Sunday.
A VIP pass includes admission, express entry, air-conditioned premium bathrooms, a commemorative lanyard and a premium view. VIP two-day passes are $499 in advance. Single-day VIP passes are $289 for Saturday and $309 for Sunday.
Platinum passes include the same amenities as a VIP pass as well as five drinks per day, side-stage viewing at the main stage, access to the artist hospitality lounge, a catered dinner, a festival swag bag and festival concierge and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Platinum two-day passes are $1,199 in advance. Single-day Platinum passes are $599 for Saturday and $699 for Sunday.

Round-trip shuttle service is available from downtown Tempe. Pickup is first come, first served. Shuttles will depart for the raceway starting at 5 p.m. each day with the last departure at 8 p.m. 
Two-day shuttle passes are sold out. A single-day round-trip shuttle pass is $59 for Saturday and $69 for Sunday.
The Tempe pickup/dropoff location is ASU Lot 59 North, 887 S. Packard Drive.
Return shuttles to Tempe will begin at 1:30 a.m. departing every half hour. The last shuttle will depart the raceway at 4 a.m. each morning. Departure shuttles are first come, first served.
Coat check is available for $19.99 a day or $29.99 for two days.
Lockers may be rented for $29.99 a day or $49.99 for two days.
Festival T-shirts may be purchased in advance for $32.50.
Free parking is available at Phoenix Raceway. Premium parking near the entrance costs $29 a day.
Overnight parking is not permitted. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Decadence Arizona is strictly 18 and older. You must present a government-issued ID to enter.
Same-day reentry is not permitted. Wristbands will only scan for entry once per day.
Phoenix Raceway’s clear bag policy allows bags that are fully clear or colored clear plastic, vinyl or mesh. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags can be used.
The maximum bag size is 15 by 15 by 5 inches. Guests may also bring one small clutch up to 5 by 7 by 2 inches.
Empty hydration packs no larger than 15 by 15 by 5 inches are allowed.
Crowd surfing and rail breaking are prohibited. Patrons doing either will be ejected.
Festival vendors will only accept RFID payments from your wristband, credit card or debit card.
