Hi guys. How are you? How has the start to your 2024 been? How was your New Years?
Hey there! We’re doing great, thanks! Excited for the new year and planning a lot for what’s ahead. The start to 2024 has been fantastic. We spent New Year’s with family, enjoying some drinks and a nice dinner.
And how was your 2023? What were the highlights?
As for 2023, it was a bit of a roller coaster. We made a big decision to move to Malta and revamped our music studio. We had some standout releases, played at festivals like Dour and Fuse Club, and joined a new agency, 7Rituals. Musically, we delved deeper into crafting a unique sound for Senses Of Mind.
How did you guys come to meet and form Senses Of Mind? What’s the story there?
We actually met in high school and have been sharing music and giving feedback on each other’s productions for years. About five years ago, we decided to form Senses Of Mind and embark on this journey together.
How would you describe your sound and what led you to your particular niche?
Our sound is best described as an ethereal, melodic techno experience. We aim to create an atmospheric and emotive journey that resonates with listeners and makes a lasting impact on the electronic music scene.

What advice would you give to young producers wishing to start a label of their own?
For young producers wanting to start their own label, our advice is to see it as a beautiful adventure, embracing both good and challenging times. Believe in your vision, be authentic, and do what you love. People will recognise and appreciate your passion.
What is your studio set up like? Any favourite toys?
In the studio, we rely on a MacBook Pro, Universal Audio interface, Eventide H9 effect pedal, Sequential Circuits Take 5, Behringer RD 8, Moog subsequent 37, Sequential Prophet- 4 Synthesizer. A few amazing vst’s and Adam A 77x Audio speakers. And expending further as it is like an addiction.
What track would you say has been an essential in your sets?
One of our essential tracks in sets is S.O.M ”Ready Or Not,” which features a powerful vocal from the Fugees.
And what artist(s) would you say have been your biggest musical influences?
Musical influences? Definitely Hans Zimmer for his incredible film scores, The Cinematic Orchestra, and Mathame.
Tell us about the forthcoming track on Steyoyoke. What is your relationship with that label?
Our forthcoming track on Steyoyoke is a dark piece with a soft touch of vocals and a swaying synth. We consider Steyoyoke family since our first release with them.
What music do you listen to outside of the electronic spectrum?
Beyond the electronic spectrum, we listen to a mix of genres daily—from ’70s classics to pop, old-school R&B, and even orchestras.
What do you like to do to relax outside of the studio / DJ booth?
To unwind outside the studio and DJ booth, we’re into sports, ranging from boxing to basketball, running, and hitting the gym.
What are you dreams / expectations for 2024?
Hey there! We’re doing great, thanks! Excited for the new year and planning a lot for what’s ahead. The start to 2024 has been fantastic. We spent New Year’s with family, enjoying some drinks and a nice dinner. Additionally, we recently had an amazing kickoff to the year in Mexico’s Tulum, where 7Rituals hosted their first event, MIA Tulum. It added a special touch to our celebrations and set the tone for a memorable year ahead.
