After a year of canceled live music and events, Insomniac Events has announced the return of EDC Orlando in November 2021.
The live music event, which Insomniac bills as its flagship East Coast festival, is scheduled to bring a massive three-night party back to the City Beautiful Nov. 12-14, 2021. The festival will help celebrate 25 years of Electric Daisy Carnival events around the world.
Next year’s event is set to become the second time Orlando’s festival is three days instead of two.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Insomniac canceled or postponed EDC Orlando, EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus and other 2020 events. In place of in-person raves, the company has hosted virtual Rave-A-Thons and livestreams to keep the party going at home.
“2021 will mark EDC’s 10th year in Orlando, and I’m so grateful for the tremendous support we’ve received from the city of Orlando and the state of Florida,” said Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella in a news release. “It’s been a dream come true to be able to make EDC a destination in Orlando where they have the best amusement parks in the world.”
In 2019, EDC Orlando hosted a sold-out crowd with an estimated 225,000 attendees. Last year, the festival also expanded to encompass more than 40 acres at Tinker Field near Camping World Stadium.
Future Owl presale tickets are available at noon Nov. 27 by visiting edcorlando.frontgatetickets.com. General-admission passes begin at $169.99, while GA+ passes start at $249.99 and VIP passes begin at $369.99 (all before taxes and fees). Earlybirds can take advantage of a payment plan with a deposit of $10.
