MELBOURNE — From trance to techno, ambient to house and glitch to drum and bass, the Australian electronic dance music scene is thriving, with artists such as Logic1000, Haiku Hands, Golden Features and Dom Dolla attracting international attention.
Melbourne-based DJ, producer and house music songwriter Dom Dolla, born Dominic Matheson, was nominated in the 2024 Grammy Awards for the song “New Gold,” and “Eat Your Man,” a collaboration with the Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, was nominated in Canada’s Juno Awards in March.
