The veteran producer was in a generous mood on Monday (October 23) as he decided to leak two songs from Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9″, Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked‘s former supergroup.

In another post, he cited the recent death of legendary producer DJ Mark The 45 King as the reason for him unearthing the never-before-heard material.
“45 king didn’t die for us to hold on to a bunch of Music,” he wrote. “more to come eventually.”
Slaughterhouse began working on Glass House in 2013, but the album never saw the light of day. It was set to be executive produced by Just Blaze, with production also coming from DJ Premier, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Cardiak, !llmind and AraabMuzik.
Appearing on Snoop Dogg‘s GGN show in 2015, the former Roc-A-Fella hitmaker said the album was in its “last phases” and just needed to be mixed.

Eminem previously explained Slaughterhouse’s breakup during an interview with Sway Calloway in 2018.
“Where we had left it, about two years ago, was everybody came in, and some of the guys in the group picked certain beats, some of guys didn’t feel those beats,” he said at the time.

“There was definitely enough songs to put an album out, but for the most part, it wasn’t a complete picture, because everybody wasn’t on the same page of what their favorite songs were. So I thought they were gonna go back, regroup, and try to make few more songs.
“Joe said, ‘Slaughterhouse ain’t hot right now, we don’t have a buzz, we need to put out a mixtape.’ From that point, everybody started branching out, Royce went and did his album, PRhyme, everybody started doing their own solo shit.”

During his appearance on Drink Champs in March, Joe Budden claimed the group’s demise was his fault.
“Come on give me the blame, I’ll take it,” he said. “I ruined everything. Everything that you loved, I ruined that shit. After 10 years long of just stories and talk, yeah, I did it.”

Although Glass House was permanently shelved, Slaughterhouse still managed to release two studio albums before their split. The group’s self-titled album dropped in 2009 on E1 Music, while their sophomore effort, Welcome To: Our House, arrived in 2012 via Eminem’s Shady Records.
