If you’re looking for old-school house music this weekend, then you’ll want to be in St. Petersburg where a staple of the genre, New York City’s Tony Humphries, takes to the Paper Crane warehouse for his local debut. You don’t often get to boogie in the presence of a Zanzibar legend who brought gospel and tribal sounds to dance music, so dig up one of Humphries’ Kiss-FM mixes to get warmed up.
Tony Humphries: All Night Long. Sat., Dec. 7. 10 p.m. $20. Paper Crane, 910 5th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. eventbrite.com
