One House launches management platform and creative studio division – Music Business Worldwide

June 1, 2024

UK-based One House, an artist development company, has unveiled a new management toolkit for artists, managers and teams, as well as a new creative division that facilitates cultural collaborations between creatives and brands.
The company, launched in 2015 by CEO Napper Tandy, says it has achieved commercial success by breaking acts like Eliza Rose, the first female DJ to achieve a UK Number One single in over two decades, as well as Folamour, Yung Singh, and SHERELLE.
One House’s new One House Platform — currently accessible by invitation only — provides artists and managers, and teams access to real-time financial information, handle contract management, oversee bookings, prioritize tasks, and collaborate through user-friendly dashboards.
Additionaly, the new platform, according to the company, provides step-by-step blueprints for various creative projects, along with financial analytics, work trackers, administrative tools for managing calendars, projects, and paperwork, and comprehensive in-house support.
“Today, access to creation tools and social platforms has democratized the ability to create and release music. The music industry is now community driven, rather than relying on large top-down marketing campaigns.”

Commenting on the development, One House CEO Napper Tandy, said: “Everything we do at One House is driven by our mission: To make a better world for creators. Artists and audiences are more and more motivated by independence, entrepreneurship and authenticity.”
Additionally, One House also launched a new creative agency, One House Studio, which offers a suite of services tailored to requirements of each project.
The studio’s services include talent project development, brand management, marketing, campaign creation, and fostering partnerships between creators and culturally influential brands.
Notable collaborations facilitated by One House Studio include SHERELLE x Nike Air Max 90, Elkka x Asics NOVABLAST, Patrice Evra x Formula 1, and Kevin Saunderson x Budweiser.
The Studio boasts a portfolio of BRIT and MOBO award-nominated projects, expert collaborators, and data-driven outcomes, One House said.
Added Tandy: “Today, access to creation tools and social platforms has democratized the ability to create and release music. The music industry is now community driven, rather than relying on large top-down marketing campaigns.
“Artists are looking for a new kind of engine to help them build their community and stand out in an increasingly populated creator-scape, and we’re here to provide it.”
One House’s new tools come amid growing interest in platforms for budding artists, producers and their teams. Last month, independent music distributor DistroKid launched its first-ever mobile app, initially available for iPhone.
Also last month, AI music analysis and recommendation company Cyanite acquired aptone, an AI-based service that allows music producers to classify and search samples.
