ONE House Music Releases New EP 'Eyes Up' – CCM Magazine

June 5, 2024

ONE House Music, a collective of diverse musicians, vocalists, songwriters, and producers, has released a 5 song EP, Eyes Up through REThink/Capitol CMG. Their name ONE House Music came through the merger of two powerful ministries – ONE Church founded by Touré Roberts and the famed Potter’s House founded by Sarah Jakes Roberts’ father, Bishop T.D. Jakes. After they married and became one, ONE became a Potter’s House Church in Los Angeles led by both Touré Roberts and Sarah Jakes Roberts who are senior pastors of the church. ONE House Music is the musical extension of the ONE Church’s global movement to create transformational experiences for people outside of the church.
Leading up to the Eyes Up EP, ONE House Music released two singles, “Last Time,” ft Isaiah Roberts and “I’d Be Lying,” featuring Sondae & Mitch Wong. “Last Time” produced by Brunes Charles, Adale Jackson, and Touré Roberts is a bold declaration of freedom born out of a moment of repentance,” shares Isaiah Roberts. “It’s a song about taking responsibility for the things I’ve done in the past and making a conscious decision not to do them again. ‘Last Time’ was inspired by an honest conversation I had with myself about letting go of the vices that had kept me from being truly fulfilled. The song is the ultimate accountability partner for people who are trying to make better life decisions. It’s also a reminder not to slip up again.”

The second single, “I’d Be Lying,” performed by ONE House featuring UK-based artist, Sondae & and Nashville-based vocalist, Mitch Wong was produced by Brunes Charles, Sondae Skipp, MFLO, and Touré Roberts. I’d Be Lying” was written from the perspective of someone who realized after trying to do things on their own they were lying to themselves and need God.
The title track, “Eyes Up” performed by ONE House featuring Mitch Wong & Jade Moya & Eliot Dean Baker “encourages listeners to keep their focus on Jesus, even when they’re facing life’s challenges,” explains ONE’s in-house producer and music director, Brunes Charles. “A version of Eyes Up was included on our debut album, Live Again. This version that you’ll hear on the EP was actually the original version that was recorded.” Brunes is a Dove-Award-winning producer who has produced for Travis Greene, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, and more.
The ONE House EP is a follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album, Live Again.
