Remember the epic days of EDM in the Philippines? Packed raves and international DJs dropping beats everywhere? Well, Project Horizon is here to revive those glory days.
The founders are on a mission to bring the Philippine EDM scene back to life, starting with a series of events every quarter. Their ultimate goal is to host massive raves like Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival in the Philippines.
“EDM and raves were a big part of our lives as teenagers and young adults, and we thought it’d suck if the next generation wouldn’t be able to experience it – so we decided to bring it back ourselves,” says Jigo Vilar, head of marketing for Project Horizon. “We hope that this is just the start of something great, and that others follow suit and help grow the community. Because EDM is just that beautiful.”
This May 10, they’re launching a one-day EDM mini-festival at McKinley Whisky Park in Bonifacio Global City. Get ready to dance the night away with two hot international DJs: RetroVision from France and Jeonghyeon from Korea.
Aside from them, two local acts are also joining the lineup, DJ Ron Poe and Mashup King Siangyoo, as with Singapore’s Eko, who previously played at It’s the Ship and Ultra Singapore.
Tickets are available on projecthorizon.helixpay.ph starting at P1,500 with two free cocktails, with VIP tables for six people at P15,000.
If you are at least 10 in the group, you can also book a cabana for P50,000, which includes 10 passes, four hard bottles, 10 mules, and four 1.5L sodas.
According to the organizers, the event is open to 18-year-olds and above.
