It’s coming up to that time to get your wellies and bucket hats ready because festival season is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more gassed about it. Here at Skiddle, we love festivals as much as the next person and couldn’t help ourselves with getting ahead with all the best UK house and techno festivals in 2024.

Creamfields

After another sell-out year, Creamfields has decided to take a different approach to its ever-so-popular festival in 2024 and announced that they are merging its North and South editions. Giving them more time to focus on making one big bang during the August Bank holiday weekend.
Creamfields will still be making some noise at their well-loved location in Daresbury, and the multi-award-winning festival never fails to disappoint welcoming 70,000 people each year to join in on their immaculate vibes. With unmissable sets, electrifying stage presence, and even quality non-music attractions to keep you pumped throughout the weekend. Parklife

Parklife is not one to be messed with when it comes to festival season, with its 16 stages, numerous non-music attractions, and one of the best locations to let loose for two days. Comfy on its grounds of Heaton Park in Manchester, Parklife has grown as a festival into something quite spectacular and they only seem to be getting bigger and better.
This year Parklife has really outdone themselves with an insane lineup that’ll get you in that pre-sale line before you get to the end of the list. From the lyrically talented Doja Cat who is playing her first UK festival headline, to J Hus, Becky Hill, Sugarbabes, Kaytranada, Camelphat, Nia Archives, Barry Can’t Swim, Pawsa, Peggy Gou and loads more. Terminal V

Terminal V is making another return with their 10th edition of Scotland’s biggest electronic festival. Over 2 days Terminal V will be providing every fan of quality house and techno music 5 stages, giving you endless opportunities to witness pure musical wizardry.
Terminal V is also no stranger to giving its audience a variety of greatness as they will be featuring up to 80+ international artists on their stages, from Hannah Laing, 999999999, DAX J, FJAAK, Clara Cuve, Thelma, Black Traffic and many more! Meaning whether you’ve just come from up the road, or half away across the world there is a fat chance they’ll be something for you there. Junction 2

Junction 2 is returning to their beloved home of Boston Manor Park in 2024 and they are making sure to keep up as one of the best UK techno festivals. The underground festival is now growing into something big and they are set to hold their most ambitious project to date. The budding festival has now elevated to playing out over three days giving you an extra day to amp up your party vibes with some big acts heading to the stages from, Adadadream, Daniel Avery, HAAi, Kölsch, Eliza Rose, Joy (Anonymous), Barry Can’t Swim, Honey Dijon, Jeff Mills, Jon Hopkins, The Blessed Madonna and many more!
From Friday to Sunday each day is set to focus on a different area of house and techno, meaning whether you’ve been to Junction 2 before or trying to be a part of the action, the crowd is going to be mega!

Baltic Weekender

Keepin’ it cosy and local is Liverpool as they put on another Baltic Weekender for 2024. While it may be considered as small, Baltic Weekender is definitely becoming a house and techno festival to look out for. Plus this festival knows how to make some noise when they’re in town with its broad genres bubbling through the speakers from house, techno, grime, bass music, and everything in between. Baltic Weekender also know how to choose their spaces as this year they are set to party in Abandon Silence and 24 Kitchen Street.
Bringing in the tunes will be Chaos In The CBD, Enzo Is Burning, Ghoulish, Job Jobse, Ki/Ki, Palms Trax, Sally C, sim0ne, Shanti Celeste, Young Singh and that’s only the phase 1 lineup, meaning they’ll be plenty more talent on the decks to bring in the weekend.

We Are FSTVL

After hitting a big milestone last year celebrating 10 years’ worth of providing irreplaceable memories, We Are FSVL is back again for another bank holiday weekend. We Are FSTVL has really made a name for itself with its evergrowing popularity and the incredible energy it brings to the stage that translates through to the crowd.
Showing their repeat love to Central Park We Are FSTVL is ready for great things as they have up to 50 artists ready and waiting in their lineup to bring a show just for you. With their headliners being Eric Prydz, the legend of the audio/visual DJ experience, as well as the high-flying badadan and bass-fuelled, Chase and Status; this will not be a weekend you want to miss.

Year after year Boomtown never fails to disappoint making them one of the best techno festivals in the UK, and they’ve taken it that step further this year with their storyline ‘Revolution of Imagination’. Boomtown explores so many genres from house, techno, disco, funk and reggae, and being one of the largest festivals in the UK it holds up to, 66,000 people who come from all around the world to not only be a part of the music but to also the indulgent mini world Boomtown create with their theatric performances.
It’s rumoured that Boomtown is to have 500 artists both international and homegrown, who’ll be set to perform over 27 stages that are always perfectly created to amp up the lively scenes of the crowd. MiNT Festival

MiNT Festival is returning to Newsam Green Farm in Leeds for another Bank holiday weekend. This year MiNT Festival is showing out with 10 stages providing the perfect set-up for their jampacked lineup from, Girls Don’t Sync, PAWSA, KETTAMA, East End Dubs, Eats Everything, K MOTIONZ and many more! Bringing you non-stop house, techno, drum and bass, and every other genre in between. MiNT Festival is also on a roll adding in new additions this year with new hoasts to bring in the party from, ATW, History of Rave, You&Me and much more!

FLY Open Air Festival

We all love cracking tunes, so to hear the hottest names on the scene with a truly beautiful backdrop really seals the deal. Hopetoun House in Edinburgh is absolutely stunning, as much of the city tends to be. Even better, it’s not uncommon for a lush, fluffy clouded sunset to creep over the house as you’re raving.
FLY Open Air is all about bringing the biggest and best house and techno artists to charming Scottish locations, and this year, they are bringing a belter of a lineup to a secret warehouse location. On the bill are the likes of HorsegiirL, Mall Grab, Effy, Salute, Ammara, KIMMIC, Morgan Seatree, Conducta, and many more. With a site that holds over 8,000 people the festival vibe will be in full flow, but the warehouse means you won’t be losing your mates too often… hopefully.
Emerge
When: Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th August 2024
Where: Boucher Road Fields in Belfast, Northern Ireland

If you’re in Belfast (or fancy a visit) and love a good dance, you’d be daft not to consider Emerge. Already boasting a massive lineup with titans of house and techno including Ben Hemsley, blk. Peggy Gou, Hannah Laing, DJ Daddy Trance, it’s mad to think there are still many more artists to be announced.
Only a 12-minute drive from Belfast City Centre and roughly a half hour from the airport, Emerge is easy to get to, has a smashing lineup, and will no doubt be the city’s biggest party this year. Get us over there!
Pavilion Festival
When: Saturday 4th May 2024
Where: Low Green in Ayr, Scotland
2024 lineup: Ewan McVicar, Patrick Topping, Special Request, Stevie Cox, Optimo, Jerome Hill, David Morales, 808 State, Fabio & Grooverider, Derrick Carter and more
Ewan McVicar’s Pavilion returns to the DJ’s hometown of Ayr after a belting sold-out debut in 2023. From midday to 10:30pm, ravers will be treated to sets by some of the best in the game including McVicar, Patrick Topping, and more names who’ll be announced soon.
The following day, Sunday the 5th, the party continues with STREETrave, a homage to a cultural phenomenon from 1989 – 1993, when the brand brought huge DJs to West Scotland.

Land Beyond Festival

Join Land Beyond Festival for their fourth chapter of an electrifying festival this summer, featuring immersive encounters, and captivating stage designs. The South East’s electronic music festival is Brighton’s first-ever dance music festival with camping and they are making sure to make the most of everything they’ve got to offer, with the sounds of house, drum and bass, grime and everything in between.
Land Beyond has already released their phase 2 lineup and it’s an absolute sight for sore eyes with, Rudimental, Girls Don’t Sync, Max Dean, Mozey, Joel Corry, Sigala, SASASAS and many more to hit the their stages this May.
