Coffee Project w/Sandspur City/Changer Rehasher alum Jake Crown joins forces with his friend (and Less Than Jake trombone player) Buddy Schaub for this folk rock project made possible by the “75-100 pots of coffee” consumed during the creation of its last release, Moved On. The boys have a new EP (Wasted Love) due the day before this show, so hope for them to play every minute of the four-track release at this show where they’ll be supported by Sandspur City (a Bay area outfit led by punk-scene staple Dave Decker) and St. Pete duo Changer. (New World Brewery, Ybor City) INFO

Pride Loft Party w/Roy Davis Jr./Austen van der Bleek/Truewill/Greg G Chicago is a sacred city when it comes to American house music, so it’s pretty cool to see Roy Davis Jr. (a disciple of acid-house torchbearers Phuture and Lil’ Louis) come to the Sunshine City to help celebrate Pride. Austen van der Bleek, who recently relocated to St. Pete from the Space Coast, will support alongside and more. (Grassroots Kava House, St. Petersburg) INFO
Yngwie Malmsteen w/The Raskins Yngwie Malmsteen fell in love with pyro in the 80s, but we’re not sure he’s going to be able to pull that off at the historic Capitol Theatre this weekend. He won’t need actual fire to set the room ablaze, however, since his solo breakthrough (Rising Force, released in ‘84) is kind of sacred for students of neoclassical instrumental rock who’ve come to bow down at the sounds of songs like “Arpeggios From Hell,” Far Beyond The Sun” and “Black Star.” (Capitol Theatre, Clearwater) INFO
He(ART) presents G.I.R.L. w/DJ Wally Clark An art show exploring the different relationships and interactions between the artist and people he loves, loved and has lusted for. And it’s all soundtracked by a mighty lineup of the area’s best rappers, singers and songwriters. (The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing, Ybor City) INFO
Symbiosis: A Sound Installation w/Erich Barganier Connect with the land you live on when St. Pete composer and multi-instrumentalist Erich Barganier stitches together an experimental/classical sound installation that will transform the sounds of nature into music by running them — in real time — through a computer where they’ll be manipulated and then plated through a surround sound system. This show will repeat itself on June 24, but do know that these happen early in the day (1:30 p.m., to be exact). (Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, St. Petersburg) INFO
Maybe I’m Amazed: The WMNF 75th Birthday Tribute to Paul McCartney w/Talk To Mark/Sara Rose Band/Cruz Brothers/American Song Box/Olivia Romano/more Beatles fan? Wings fan? McCartney fan? Yeah? Then this may be a show for you. Macca turns 75-years-old on Saturday, so community radio station WMNF is honoring the icon by tapping bands from around the Tampa Bay to select and play songs from his 1963-1975 catalog. The 17 bands will be play in the chronological order of their respective songs so diehard fans might want to camp out at Skipper’s for this one. (Skipper’s Smokehouse, Tampa) —LJ INFO
Dreampusher Unplugged: The Exchange w/Dynasty/Joshua Cruz/Trevor Easterling/Kenosobi/Dabron Kain Bay area emcee Dynasty already owns a compelling live show, but she’s stripping it back for this one where she and a strong lineup of Bay area singers, guitarists and beat makers hope to rope audience members into a conversation about their hopes, intentions, influences and dreams. (The Lion's Den Cigar Lounge Ybor, Ybor City) INFO
Analogue w/Vagara/Chang/Uncle Tone Bay area electronic music scene champ Chang welcomes Brooklyn micro-disco, deep house and techno spinner Vagara to The 600 Block in downtown St. Pete. (Fubar, St. Petersburg) INFO
Peyote Coyote w/Johnny Mile/Timothy Eerie You guessed it. This show featuring Pompano Beach trio Peyote Coyote is going to be psychedelic. For proof, listen to the band’s 2016 self-titled, five-track collection of trippy beach pop. Get there earlier (like 10 p.m.) for a set from Orlando’s technicolored wonder Timothy Eerie and a performance by St. Pete’s own Mr. Johnny Mile and his Kilometers. (The Bends, St. Petersburg) INFO
Skull & Bone Band Farewell Show Tampa’s own Skull and Bone Band has been bringing its blend of Southern-Fried-Soul-Rock to the Bay area for over a decade. The locally dubbed “Hell raisin’ nephews of The Allman Brothers” have made a sizeable mark on the Florida scene. This Saturday the band will bid adieu to fans (for the foreseeable future,) as front man Troy Youngblood embarks on his move to Maine. Whether you’ve caught the outfit at one of its countless club gigs over the years, or are lucky enough to have witnessed an infamous Skull and Bone House party firsthand, one thing is for sure, the band will be missed! Show starts at 8 p.m. and will be Luau themed. Bust out those grass skirts and coconut bras and come party. — Julia Stewart (3 Daughter's Brewing, St. Petersburg) INFO
